Spoken by Bradley Cooper in "The Hangover". I never get tired of this movie, cracks me up every time. Click below for the clip!
I have always thought that I could do a better job of reviewing movies than the so-called professionals. Now is my chance. None of that artsy mumbo jumbo for me, it's about the entertainment value! So stock up on the popcorn and Jujyfruits (my personal favorite)! I will be reviewing old as well as new movies as I can. If there is a movie you would like reviewed, leave the title in a comment and I would be happy to do it, especially if I haven't seen it before. My ratings are based on a FIVE STAR scale. I have been told that I am kind of tough on the movies, so be prepared, I call em as I see em!
Love this blog. This young lady and her friends all live the vintage life!

THE STANFORD THEATRE in downtown Palo Alto is fabulous! This theater plays classic movies in a beautifully restored theater (We like to sit in the balcony). They even have an organist that pops up between movies to play at intermissions and also during silent movies. The cost is cheaper than regular theaters ($7) and the snacks are cheaper than most theaters as well. This price usually includes a double feature. They play all of the famous films including "Gone With The Wind" which they are playing on December 25 and 26 of this year. It is worth it to see it on the big screen! They also play "It's A Wonderful Life" every Christmas Eve. Every once in a while a special guest will appear. Brian and I once got to see Tippi Hedren at a double feature of "The Birds" and "Marnie" her two films with Alfred Hitchcock. She spoke at both intermissions and was personable, humorous and beautiful! If you sign up for their mailing list, they send out a new schedule in the mail every few months. Check it out, totally worth it!! Click on the theater for more info.
